Brazil international Richarlison scored one of the goals as Everton came from a goal down to beat Arsenal 2-1 at home when the two teams met at Goodison Park on Monday night for the first of the two Premier League meetings this season.
Brazil national team attacker Richarlison had the ball in the back of the net for the second time at the just before the hour mark only for him to be denied by another offside call. The Brazil international was not to be denied in the 80thminute when he found the back of the net via a header. He scored the rebound after the shot from Demarai Gray had hit the crossbar.Richarlison now has an attacking return of three goals and two assists in ten league games this season.
Gray was involved in the build-up for the firstgoal scored by Brazil player Richarlison as revealed earlier and he scored the second goal in the final moments of the game to secure a first win for his team in nine Premier League outings. Everton had not won a Premier League match in eight attempts before the Arsenal game. Their last win before they faced the Gunners was against Norwich City over two months ago.
Everton are up by four places to 12th spot on the Premier League log with 18 points from 15 games, while Arsenal maintain their place in the top seven with 23 points from 15 games.
