Following a disappointing string of performances during the Copa America Centenario, Dunga was fired from his coaching position in the Brazilian national side and Adenor Leonardo Bacchi, better known as Tite was the man that was selected to usher in a new era for the Brazilian team.
Tite is not a very well-known manager in the spectrum of high-profile coaches. Throughout the entirety of his managerial career, he has been able to take charge of numerous Brazilian clubs and lifted many titles for those clubs but none of them are as competitive as the Champions League or other highly competed pieces of silverware that managers would give everything they have in order to secure it.
Even though Tite has not sealed such a coveted or well-known trophy or been in charge of a highly-rated club such as Bayern Munich or Barcelona, Neymar believes that Tite has what it takes to win the World Cup title with Brazil.
“The arrival of Tite has changed the national team, but not the environment. Tite has surprised me a lot as a coach. He is one of the most prepared and one of the best I’ve ever worked with. It is great to play under Tite. I’m very sure he will take us to the World Cup, perhaps even to a title. I think he’s organizing the the whole setup, doing everything just right.” Barcelona’s Neymar said.
Since the appointment of Tite as the new coach of Brazil earlier on June, he has guided the national side to 4 qualifying matches and these victories has positioned the Brazilian team to the top of the CONMEBOL with 21 points secured out of the 10 opening matches of the season.
